Collection: The world of Vinyls
Find the right vinyl for your project
Explore three types of vinyl, each suited to different surfaces and uses. Choose the one that best matches your project and whether you want a lasting or temporary design.
-
Permanent vinyl: it is a durable, adhesive-backed material designed for long-lasting projects. It bonds strongly to smooth, hard surfaces like glass, plastic, metal, and sealed wood, making it perfect for car decals, outdoor signs, and custom drinkware. Because its adhesive is water- and weather-resistant, it should not be used on indoor walls (it will damage paint) or fabric (use iron-on vinyl instead).
-
Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV): HTV (Heat Transfer Vinyl), also known as iron-on vinyl, is a heat-activated material used to customise fabrics and textiles. It uses a heat press or household iron to permanently bond with surfaces like cotton, polyester, canvas, and burlap, making it perfect for t-shirts, tote bags, hoodies, and hats. Unlike adhesive vinyl, HTV is flexible, stretches with clothing, and safely goes through the washing machine, but it cannot be used on hard, non-porous surfaces like plastic or glass.
- Removable vinyl: Removable vinyl is a temporary, adhesive-backed material designed for indoor projects, short-term use, and skin-safe henna tattoo stencils. It sticks well to smooth, flat surfaces like painted indoor walls, glass, mirrors, laptops, and clean skin, using a gentle adhesive that peels off cleanly without leaving residue, damaging paint, or hurting your skin. This makes it perfect for apartment-friendly wall decals, crisp henna art stencils, temporary event signage, and seasonal decorations, though it should not be used outdoors or on items that need heavy washing.
For the best result, choose a vinyl that suits your surface and project.
